The Beginning of H.A. LOVE

H.A. Love Society began as a non-profit organization that aimed to help reduce the effects of poverty in our global community. In 2013, Isabella went to the Dominican Republic with her high school's outreach team. She was surprised to see a sharp contrast between both the beauty and the poverty there. On this trip, she helped the locals with various projects, such as reconstructing buildings and landscaping. More importantly, this opportunity allowed her to learn about their culture and the effects of poverty on both the young and the old. Although language was a barrier, she was inspired by their warmth and brotherhood.

She thought that the 2 weeks of outreach was an amazing experience that broadened her perspectives. However, she did not want the trip to merely be an experience. Instead, she wanted to transform her desire to help into action.

In 2015, she founded H.A. Love, and the team organized their first benefit concert, the Love Concert, for Island Light Ministries in the Dominican Republic. Island Light Ministries is an organization that works with the locals and provides them with meals, education/vocational trainings, and more. While she was in the Dominican Republic, she saw the transformative works that the organization was doing. She believed that the proceeds from the concert would provide more resources and opportunities to allow people to break out of the poverty cycle.
